How do I reset my password?

Go to Login page → tap "Forgot Password" → enter your registered email → check your inbox for a reset link. The link expires in 15 minutes.

How do I enable 2FA?

Go to Profile → 2FA Security → enable Email OTP. Enter the OTP sent to your registered email to confirm. Google Authenticator support coming soon.

My account is locked — what do I do?

Too many failed login attempts can temporarily lock your account. Wait 30 minutes and try again, or contact support via Chat for manual unlock.

How do I change my registered email?

Email change is currently handled by our support team. Start a chat and verify your identity — changes are made within 24 hours.

What documents are required for KYC?

You need a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar card — front & back) and a live selfie. All images must be clear, unblurred and unedited.

How long does KYC verification take?

Verification is typically completed within 24–48 hours. You will receive an email notification once your status is updated.

My KYC was rejected — why?

Common reasons: blurry image, expired document, selfie mismatch, or edited photo. Re-submit from Profile → KYC Verification with clearer documents.

What are the benefits of completing KYC?

KYC unlocks higher P2P trading limits, ability to post ads, withdrawal access, and full platform features. Unverified users have restricted access.

How do I deposit USDT?

Go to Wallet → Deposit → select USDT → choose a network (TRC20 recommended for low fees) → copy your unique deposit address and send from your external wallet.

How long do deposits take?

TRC20/BEP20 deposits confirm in ~3–5 minutes. ERC20 may take 10–30 minutes depending on network congestion. Do NOT send via a wrong network — funds may be lost.

What are the withdrawal fees?

TRC20: 1 USDT | BEP20: 1 USDT | ERC20: 5 USDT | MORPH: 1 USDT. Fees are deducted from the sent amount. Minimum withdrawal is 10 USDT.

My deposit hasn't arrived — what should I do?

Check the transaction on a blockchain explorer using your TXID. If confirmed on-chain but not credited after 1 hour, contact support with your TXID and screenshot.

Can I cancel a withdrawal?

Withdrawals in "Pending" status can be reviewed by support. Once "Processing" or "Completed", cancellation is not possible.

How does P2P trading work?

You trade directly with other users at negotiated prices. BITCOVEX acts as an escrow — USDT is locked when an order is created and released only after payment confirmation.

What is a security deposit?

To post P2P ads, you must lock a minimum of 200 USDT as a security deposit. This deposit protects buyers in case of disputes. Merchant badge requires 500 USDT + admin approval.

How do I post a P2P ad?

Go to P2P → My Ads → Post Ad. Set your price, limits, payment method and terms. Your security deposit must be ≥ 200 USDT to post ads.

What happens if there is a dispute?

Either party can raise a dispute during an active order. Our support team will review evidence (chat, payment proof) and release funds to the rightful party within 24 hours.

What is a Merchant badge?

Merchants are verified high-volume traders. To apply: deposit 500 USDT security → go to Profile → Apply to Become Merchant → await admin approval. Approved merchants get a colored badge on their ads.

How do I buy USDT with INR?

On the P2P page, select "Buy" and choose USDT. Browse merchant ads, pick one matching your amount and preferred payment method, then click Buy and follow the order steps.

Which payment methods are supported?

UPI, IMPS, NEFT, bank transfer, Paytm, PhonePe, and other methods as listed by individual merchants. Each ad shows its accepted payment options.

What are the trading limits?

Limits vary per merchant ad (shown as Min–Max on each card). Your KYC status determines your overall daily limit. Complete KYC to unlock higher limits.

Is my fiat payment safe?

BITCOVEX escrow locks the USDT before you pay. Only pay the amount shown — never pay extra or outside the order. Mark payment only after actual transfer. Never cancel after paying.

What is spot trading?

Spot trading is buying or selling crypto at the current market price for immediate settlement. You own the actual asset — no leverage or contracts involved.

How do I place a market order?

Go to Trade → select a trading pair → choose Market order type → enter the amount → confirm. The order executes instantly at the best available price.

What trading fees are charged?

Spot trading fees are 0.1% per trade (maker and taker). Volume-based discounts and VIP tiers may apply. Fees are deducted from the received asset.

What is futures trading?

Futures trading lets you speculate on crypto price movements using leverage, without owning the underlying asset. You can go Long (profit if price rises) or Short (profit if price falls).

What is leverage?

Leverage amplifies your position size. For example, 10× leverage means a 1% price move equals a 10% gain or loss on your margin. Higher leverage = higher risk of liquidation.

What is liquidation?

If your position losses exceed your available margin, the position is automatically liquidated (closed) to prevent negative balance. Always use stop-loss orders to manage risk.

Are futures available on BITCOVEX?
